The Making Process
From Clay to Completion
Our creation process involves multiple stages, each requiring patience and precision. The journey from raw material to finished object typically spans several weeks, allowing time for proper drying, firing, and glazing.
We begin with wheel-throwing, where the initial form emerges. This is followed by trimming and refinement, where details are carefully added. After bisque firing, glazes are applied using various techniques, and the pieces undergo their final firing at controlled temperatures.
Each firing cycle brings transformation, as glazes mature and colors develop their final characteristics. The unpredictability of this process ensures that every piece carries unique qualities.
